Works great if it will stay on?

Have now bought 3 and all 3 works great for a few days then the bottom snap comes off. Wish I knew what was going on ???

Tailgate Assist

I love this product. With the weight of the step inside of the tailgate it is a little heavier than normal. Now I just let it fall and it drops slowly.
I have ordered 2 more for friends.
